Pros and cons of Baumbestimmung app for iPhone and iPad

Baumbestimmung app good for

This is a good app for basic plant id. It would be great if you could add new plants and not just pictures.
This app is very helpful. My daughter use it to study for her tree bee competition. Its very handy in her iPod and very good on the Ipad too at home.
This is so freakin useful!!! The concept is unique. Four stars and a bow. Some little suggestions to make it 5 stars: More languages, like Italian (since I am one xD) A similar app for herbs
Hey! I dont speak German, and the warning is in small print...so I hope the new version will automaically come to me...?
I loved it even in German. Gave me chance to learn a few words! There are still a few trees that have German. Glad youve added botanic name list. Being able to flip the leaves is a plus. Surprised at how many are also native to U.S. Midwest! This is the app I would have created!
This app should really include conifers as well, not just deciduous trees. That might get more buys.

Some bad moments

Is not a complete database. Pictures freeze and will not close to get back to main screen. Most pictures do not show.
I also dont speak German and the app in Itunes is in English so I bought something I cant use. This looks like a great app, if I could read it! Until I receive the 1.3 English version, it rates nothing from me.
I gave it 3 stars because in your description you stated that the English version was comming soon. I assumed you meant trees found in the USA. Thats what I get for assuming. Alot of these trees in this app are found here in the USA as well as Europe so it still is helpful. Add in trees found in america and you get 5 stars. I would even pay $2 for that update.
i got this because i was in a botany class but i wouldnt recomend getting it unless they change a few things. for being a real sciency app its pretty unorganized and not all there. it only had deciduous. no evergreens. those are trees as well. i do like being able to see the buds leaves and stuff but im not sure that it amazes me enough to use it...but with some tweeking it could potentially get 5 stars from me. and also i do not have the upgrades.
I am only giving this app one star because I feel the developer used a misleading quote in his description from a US user. Please be aware that this app is geared towards users in Central Europe and NOT those in North America. Also, there are not many trees that are included in the database. Basically, I found this app pretty useless for identifying the common trees found in the States. If many more trees and perhaps Conifers were added that were found in the US, perhaps this would be an useful application for those across the pond.
I cant believe it:they give you deciduous trees and if you want conifers you have to buy them extra! It is a shameless scam.
